"Padharo Mhare Desh" is the tagline that represents Rajasthan tourism. Trust me, It's all true! Rajasthan is the state filled with warmest hospitality I have ever experienced! Hi everyone, So, I am back with another blog This time it's about my recent tour to Udaipur. Everybody unequivocally loves Udaipur. It seems like every travel blogger who's been to Rajasthan comes away listing it to their favorite spot in the state. I went to Udaipur with family to celebrate my mother's birthday in the 1st week of September. We drove till Udaipur resting in Eklingji (A very famous ancient temple which is just 19 KM from Udaipur) for 1 night. The next day, we reached our Hotel (Oberoi Udaivilas) Left our bags and went to the lake side. I wandered to the lake’s edge and sat down, eager to spend a few moments watching the calm waters lap beneath my feet, the sun drifting lower through the hazy orange sky. It was such a magical moment and I wanted to take it all in. I wouldn’t describe Udaipur as peaceful, but in a country as loud as India, it was a novelty to stumble into areas where you could hear nothing at all. Then we went to "Upre" a very famous roof top restaurant in Udaipur with magical views. It was nice in there. Then we ended our day with a long walk. Next day we went to the spectacular City Palace. It almost takes 2 hours to see that whole palace. It was tiring one. Followed by our dinner in "Traditional Khana" a very renowned cultural restaurant in Udaipur known for it's Daal Bati. It was amazing out there. People have this misconception that "Marble products are best found in 'Kishangarh'" But, I need to reveal the fact that It's best to buy marble products from Udaipur as they have a better pricing and quality in Udaipur. So, This was a brief about my Udaipur journey. See you guys soon with another blog about some other location. Thank you!
